San Miguel Church. The oldest church structure in the USA. Located in Taos, NM.

The original adobe walls and alter were built by the Tlaxcalan Indians from Mexico in 1610.

Very interesting. I really like the last one though...the texture is brought out great and the rich, warmth is wonderful.

    Thanks Eia,

What's interesting to me, is that this is the OLDEST HOUSE IN THE USA, and you can just walk right up to it, touch it, or let's hold our breathe, lest someone might want to vandalize it just for the heck of it.

It's hard to see in this smaller size, but about 3' up from the ground all along this house, you can clearly see the straw/hay that is exposed in the Adobe where people have touched it repeatedly, over the years.

I must say though, for a house that's about 399 years old and made of mud & straw, it's holding up rather well.

Shoot in RAW because memory is cheap but memories are priceless.
