That's kinda hard to say without seeing the full picture. I'd like it a bit more if the bar wasn't running straight down the middle of her face, too.

Her hands on the "jail bars" might help it convey the story a bit more as well. I'm really digging the hair though.

Wrong terminology--Not cropped but framed.

Wanted to avoid capturing the large floor to ceiling tree mural behind her so I framed it too tightly.

I also wanted to avoid the bar in the middle of the face and get both her eyes, but I just couldn't frame that quite right, see?

She really reminds me of a wild caged animal with the hair and the looks she's giving me.

I'd go with this last one. I like seeing one eye and her nose over the bar down the center of her face. Same B&W treatment.

Here it is.


I'm not really liking the last two photos--I like the original because it almost looks disturbing, not cute. I wasn't really going for cute.

I kind of liked the haunted crazy look of the original. But maybe the bar down the middle is just too much.

I like it - it's frightening - especially the first - and feels claustrophobic, very...

The narrowness of the shot/crop helps that extreme confined feeling; Nice!

Thanks. I've succeeded in making my 2 year old look frightening and possesed--maybe that will be my niche .
