I have read Andys sticky not above and not sure if my problem applies. But I have added the domains.smugmug.com to my cname entry at my hosting site network solutions.

When I enter www.daveclee.com all is well, but as soon as I enter any of my galleries the url changes to dclee.smugmug.com. I checked out Andys site and the URL always remains www.moonriverphotography.com no matter
where i navigate in his gallery.

I am looking for the same look..

Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers

Dave

dave, you have forwarding turned on. You need to disable it. The forwarding is directing to your yournickname.smugmug.com address. That is what is causing the problem.

i was wondering this too, do you mean forwarding with the domain? I have godaddy and I don't believe I have forwarding turned on. I can't figure out how to turn it off if I do, b/c when I click forwarding all it offers is for me to put an address in.

Or is this some sort of forwarding in smugmug?

just wondering if the email was an auto generated response...the domain was (or should've been) already set up...so was the forwarding part fixed?

    thanks doc!

    Nope, that was me personally.
I do use a program called textexpander to keep from having to retype the exact same over and over... :-)

And I think I got you all set via email. Let me know if you still have trouble.

    Doc-

nothing has changed. When you go to my site the custom domain is there but once you click on any of the navbar buttons the domain changed back to the smugmug domain, the custom name no longer shows.

    how can I fix this?

The problem was that you had the SmugMug URL's hard coded into the Easy Customizer so they always used the SmugMug URL. I fixed it for you and you're all set now.
