This picture is as shot....I didn't clone the ball in.. I found it while out for a walk stuck a wire in it and hung it on the side of and old trailer.

    rolleyes1.gif You're good Azzaro clap.gif

I love it --- you have such a good imagination. Your artistic abilities are showing thumb.gif

Looks like the Moon with a little star to the left. Wish I could find rust like you have down there.

Was just thinkin' -- how long do you think it would of taken you to bounce that ball and get the photo headscratch.gif

    Very good Azzaro thumb.gif

Very cool. Also a candidate in the perspectives challenge (IMO). Very celestial. Great creativity!

Great shot, Azzaro. I'm curious, what produced that specular spot of light to the left of the yellow ball? I assume it was flash, but not sure. It's a little odd that such a rusty surface would have such a reflective area. This is one of your very best.

    Take care,

    Tom
I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.

Hi Mary Kim......Thanks for the great comment..... As for shooting a bouncing ball, that would probably take, as my mom would say, a month of Sundays..... A Nikon D40x is not the camera of choice for action shots. And then 69 year olds are not known for quick reflexes. azzaro

Top notch Azzaro. It certainly does look like a celestial orb. I'd love to see this in B&W as I think the rust speckles would add a starry sky to what appears to be the moon and a planet. clap.gifclap.gif

edited to add... PS I tried a quick and dirty B&W conversion and it looks awesome, love to see a more careful conversion.

Pretty sweet use of materials on hand. End result with slight lens flare is
so very nice. Double star system. Need to account for the light coming
from the right. :D Your seriously getting some very creative pieces.
Recent .... Barbed Wire and Flat Tire ++++. Are sweet works also.
