Disguse-Need ID

This guy like an ant when I first look, but I suddenly recognized some differences between them, get close to this guy and I saw:

1. A long nose

    Lovely captures - it's an ant- mimicking jumping spider.

    Yes, I believe Brian is right (as usual bowdown.gif ).

    I suspect that in particular it is the male Myrmarachne Plataleoides:

    Very nice captures of a fairly odd creature.

    What an unusual creature. I've seen jumpers but never an Ant mimicking jumper. Superb shots of a very unusual beastie :)

    These shots are amazing, I have never seen one of these before.
    The head on this Ant in the #3rd and #4th shots looks exactly like a Jumping Spider, what an odd little critter that is.
