Illinois Valley

While on vacation in Oregon, we visited this area and did a bit of swimming in the river. It felt really good in 100 degree weather.
Here is a funny story. My middle daughter was floating on her float. She felt, what she thought, was one of the straps from her swimming suit. She went to move it and IT MOVED. A water snake had swam up on her float with her. I think you could have heard her scream back home in Spokane:D:D.

Lovely composition. I like the curvy line under the mountain

Cool shot. I don't think I'd be too happy about a water snake floating down the river with me either.

Nice shot Ron. I posted a few from our trip there back in mid-July. What a special place! Did you see the kids jump off the suspension bridge?

Thanks Miguel. I remember when you posted your pictures. I had never even heard of Illinois Valley at that time. Now that I have seen some of it, I should go back and look at your pics again. I may recognize some of the places no. I do not remember seeing a suspension bridge, but it could be that I saw it ans still don't remember it also ne_nau.gif. That would not surprise me!
