I just fired this off quickly - it for sure needs a reshoot - but whaddy'all think of it as a concept?

I think it's a neat idea but since what it does is magnify why not make the words within the lens much bigger maybe even use that sphere tool or something. Just a thought.

It's funny I use those readers everyday and it never even occurred to me for the theme. It's a great idea.

    Interesting concept.
    Hey Divamum!
It is quite an interesting concept, I just think it needs more umph (spelling?)... more pizazz, if you will. Can you do something different than the phone book?

The idea has promise.... just pump it up a notch! rolleyes1.gif

    Thanks all!

No, not my number at all, Em - no worries! Totally random. I don't actually like the phone book either, it's simply what was to hand that had small print, so I grabbed it for these test shots. These were literally grab-and-go just to see if I could even achieve shooting through a pair of readers; reshoot will need more attention to detail (although sometimes I've found that once you start worrying it too much it actually gets WORSE, not better; we'll see if I can pull off what's in my head.... rolleyes1.gif) I hope to find something with small print that's FLAT, too, so it doesn't mess with the shallow DOF.......

I'm on the oomph trail thumb.gif

    Perhaps a favorite photography book?

Good idea Diva, I agree with the others on emphasizing the magnifying part of the text more.

Great idea!! I considered something like it but couldn't figure out how to make it work. You have done it (so I won't). I think if you do a reshoot with the above comments in mind you will come up with a dynamite image! Go for it!!

    Cheers,
