    Hi Joyce!

I really like this. I think the bowl just needs a "floor" in order to look like it's being blown over instead of falling. Maybe a hint of a table, etc. directly underneath it would do the trick. ne_nau.gif

yeah I thought the same thing. I added a little highlight with a dodge tool but it was obviously not enough. I will play with it some more this weekend.....
or do the other shot I was thinking of......maybe....headscratch.gif

Very nice shot and light JAG and good idea to start with, but I have the same feeling
the the floating bowl looks like it doesn't belong there... it needs some credible support...

You come up with the coolest ideas!

Seeing no table top doesn't bother me. I like the shot as is. But if you're going to work in a table, make sure it extends to the speaker.

Maybe showing some motion in the the woofer would convince me that the sound caused the reaction. Crank up the bass and get that thing pounding. The result may give a nice natural motion blur. That may even solve the 'floating' bowl issue others have mentioned. I like what you have done!

    I think it's a cool idea and I'm jealous.
Maybe the bowl should be switched horizontally and falling off the speaker.
When I crank mine up I always have something falling off.

I think it looks more believeable to me. What about the speaker being at the same angle as the first one? I think funny is good.
I love this idea and your image.

Very cool idea. It communicates "very loud" to me.

More ditto. Very good idea. Definately gives the sense of sound impacting something. The blur on the woofer makes the sound aspect clear, and the fish and bowl say 'really insanely loud sound'.

I like #1 a lot, JAG, but what if you reverse the bowl (I'm simply assuming it's a separate layer :D) so that it looks like it's benig pushed BACKWARDS by the sound? I th ink that might solve the "falling off" impression. Well, maybe ... without seeing it, I'm not entirely sure and may be talking total rubbish,b ut worth a try if the file's set up so you can do that without too much of a headache!

Nice shot, but sort of reminds me of another Dgrinners idea where they had a dog on a "Woofer" and the sound was making the dog bounce with the ears flapping.
