    That is just too cool. Do they ever all take off at once and fill the sky with themselves (and have you ducking for cover)?

    Thanks guys.

    These birds do have the flock mentality going.
    When one gets worried and starts flying, the whole flock moves, but they don't move fast.
    It seems like they know with their large wing span that only so many of them can take off at once.

    I watched this flock move 4 times. They probably only moved 200 yards each time they moved.
    It took 8 - 10 minutes for all of them to finally get up off the water and move downstream.
