Javelina - Collared Peccary - The Musk Hog

Near Old Mexico, Webb County Texas.....decided to take a stroll down the sendero (ranch road). As I stalked the sendero's edge, I hear the soft sound of movement working in through the dense brush. This photo is the clearing encounter...a South Texas javelina (peccary).

    Awesome. I've been thus far unsuccessful in my quest to photograph Javalina in Arizona. Good for you for catching one of these wily beasts in the wild. thumb.gif
