Does this one work for #32? Reshoot is possible, weather and time permitting.

It took me a couple of looks to figure out that the stuff at the bottom was a reflection of the stuff at the top. Initially I thought it was just some more patios on the hillside. Is the idea that you are underwater looking up and out?

Looks to me like the stuff at the top is the reflection.

I really like it! thumb.gif I can't think of anything I would change.

It looks a little crooked, but that may just be a result of the reflection.

The idea is communicated very clearly and I really like it. My only thought would be to maybe tone down the non reflected section - it feels too bright?

Puzzling for sure. Took me a moment to figure out, and I'm still not sure...Very cool. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for looking and for commenting, folks. thumb.gif

I took this photo from an old railroad bridge that's now a hiking trail. The photo shows two mill buildings reflected in a stream and is flipped 180 degrees.

Sean, thanks for pointing out that I need to tone down the non-reflected part. It looked OK at home but now that I'm looking at it on a different monitor I can see what you're talking about. The grass color does have a certain 60's color vibe to it. :jose rolleyes1.gif

I like this one a lot. Nice, rich colors (although I agree that the grass could be toned down a couple notches).

    Great idea :)

    Hi Linda,

This is a very nice shot with lovely colors
    - I personally see a very nice tone of the grass on my screen...

However I would really go back and turn the image vertically to the normal view
    - I personally find the flipping effect too extreme...

This is beautiful, Linda. I actually like it this way up (upside down, as it were), but I'm not sure you need the "real" grass and decks - playing around with the browser window, I think the ripples make it clear it's a reflection without actually seeing what generated the reflection (if that makes sense- trying to write about this is like "Through the looking glass"! rolleyes1.gif).

I actually had downloaded your photo on my desktop to see what it looks like flipped over
and I cut the "real" grass and deck too :)

    - strait or flipped, cutting that part can be an idea... headscratch.gif

    Thanks, everyone!

Re-did the grass color and fixed some of the distortion on the original. Not sure about a crop. Yet. :D

Laughing.gif @ the smile in the sunflower

I think your original is still the strongest with the toned down grass it works good.

I would think so! Perhaps including a little of the non-reflected image would work better?

I personally like both of your new ones and thank you for the funny third
    - it brings some nice fresh air and feelings here :)

    Hmm... hard to say... headscratch.gif

    - From the 2 new ones I like best the first, with the people.
