I thought this was rather interesting how the sax player appears to be alone without an audience and in the background a whole bunch of people watching somebody else, even the person on the right appears to be walking away from him towards the crowd.

With the colors of the scene and the fact that he is an African American, coupled with a shirt and pants that blend perfectly, it took me a second to lock-in on the sax player. Pretty busy scene for the eye and that possibly is what you were going for. Just a bit "all over the place" for me....not enough connection for him.

I agree. It felt a bit like "where's Waldo." I think my eyes shot to the flags, and then to the crowd, which odly enough appears to be running away from the sax player, as you pointed out. What was it? Sax player that bad? Or something else entirely?

I like the PP idea, but I just think that given the overall colors, a stronger subject, larger, is probably what is needed.
