Michael, I like this a lot. The converging lines and the colors are really good. I'd love to se this one blown up big as these are the kind of shots that grace walls very well.
Take care,
Tom
I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.
Andrew, thanks for the really nice feedback. Cool to have it.
Where is this, by the way? My impression is that this is looking down, it actually works either way (just rotate it 180). Agree, this is the sort of image that you'd see in a swank office...

Appreciate the feedback Tom. Thats nice indeed. Print large? Could happen.
Don't personally have a wall for it but I have a friend who's wife mgrs. an
interior decorating outfit that sometimes is on the prowl for different stuff.
I'll just have her take a look at it for consideration.

This was two converging building walls. Actually lines are all horizontal with
the left building being pretty much that color... the other gray concrete.
I was standing on the ground trying to frame above the grass line and still
get a decent perspective angle. Had to crop out sky and the top of one
buildings.... hence so narrow. Did try rotating all the way around. This way
seemed about the best. Nice suggestion. I need a swank office.
My problem is more along the lines of out putting the correct information
to the print shop. Hate to confess I need to know more about printing.
Have done some reading about it at smugmug to ensure correct everything.
If theres any place I could use a mentor its in this category.
The nice thing about mpix is they want sRGB as the input, so there aren't printer profiles and such. They color manage for you against sRGB. Some costco's have print services as well that I've had generally good results, though sometimes the color was pretty off (turned out they used a different printer and didn't bother to mention it -- they reprinted for free after I complained that the color was horrid).

Thank you much Mary Kim.
This might really make it to first large print. Now figure out how to get
that done.

appreciated.
Really love the look and feel this one gives off.
Such a wonderful perspective, and intriguing composition, and then the beautiful color, just really wraps it all up.
Very nicely done!!!
