Nothing like the rolling lighting storms of AZ. Everyone should experience it. Very cool, on the spot, capture. And I especially like the in focus desert sand in the FG that puts me there, up close and personal.

Fantasticclap.gif We had quite a light show going on in Chandler as well.

What settings did you use for this?

I knew you would be out last night! Wow, I don't think I have ever saw three bolts so close together. Nice capture with the sharp detail. Jeepers...it looks like you were awfully close!

Really nice capture Christina, right place at the exact right time. Was this a blend of multiple images?

Thank you Natalie! I'm just glad a had put the camera in the car yesterday. I would have missed the whole thing.

My settings were f8 for 20 seconds. I used my Sigma 10-20mm lens for this shot too.

Thank you Doug! It was the right place at the right time. I have 90 shots from last night and all of them have strikes in them. This shot was a single 20 second exposure - I just got lucky with all three hitting in that time frame. I think I might make a slide show with the shots from last night.
