I must say it is a bit strange picking out what to post for this challenge being an "anything goes". Here are a couple I took yesterday. I'm leaning toward the first one. What do you all think?
Wow, both excellent shots Erich. #1 is my favorite, I like the way the sillouette lines of the foreground and background converge and direct my eye to the fisherman, and the colors set the mood nicely. Hats off to you.

Both awesome shots! I lean towards the first one, though.
If this were my shot, I would try cropping more off the bottom. This would have two effects: 1. reduce the amount of featureless black at the bottom, and, 2. Bring the fisherman closer to that bottom right "sweet spot". Just a thought...
