Summer sunset in Virginia

Not widely known for beautiful sunsets, this one was here in Winchester, Virginia. I wish the wires had not been there but they do keep the lights on!

    Hi Barry! This is a gorgeous sunset, indeed. Love the cloud patterns and the silhouettes, and yeah wish the wires weren't there either but we understand. On the contrary I think that part of the country can have really classic summer sunsets like this one. Thanks for sharing!

    Thanks for sharing. I work 2nd shift, so I don't get to see sunsets too often. Come on down to FroRo and you can shoot off my deck (no power lines). :D

    Thanks for the responses - yes Neal, I might take you up on that some time. I may erase the wires at some point but I try to stay away from too much photo rework - prefer it as close to out of the camera as possible.
