Slow uploads from Adobe Lightroom

Anyone else experiencing slow uploads from the Adobe Lightroom export plug-in? I'm on a Mac...........it seems to be taking forever.

    Yes! The Java upload app is very fast but the LR plugin is unusable.

    Yes, for the last two days I have not been able to use the Friedl SmugMug plug-in consistently, keep getting timeouts and retries. I finally had to give up, export to disk and upload through the Java web interface.

    Update: Looks like Friedl just (within the last few hours) released an update that might address some of the upload problems. Haven't tested it myself yet...

    Thanks for that, I've installed it and am now just waiting for some half decent pics to upload....
