Hi Brad, what fantastic shots. I have just been learning the panning process. What mode, shutter speed and lens did you use for these.
    Regards

Brad is actually the first racer on the pictures, #616. rolleyes1.gif

I was in the S mode most of the day, just playing with different settings. I'll have to check which speed I was using when I get home from work tonight. I believe most were @ 1000, except for the shots where I wasn't panning, I bumped it up to 4000. But shot #3 of Ricky Orlando was around 250 if I remember right. Again, I'll have to double check when I get home.

The lens I was using for all of these shots was a Nikkor 55-200mm f/4-5.6 (non VR). thumb.gif The last shot of the actual burnout on the ground was w/ the stock lens, the 18-55mm one that came w/ the camera.

I sincerely apologise for calling you Brad. However, as I have already said you have made a first class job of those shots and thanks for sharing them with us. Hope to see more soon.
