Hi all! I was wondering if anyone had suggestions of how to price a disk of images from the weddings you shoot. I am just starting out but I don't want to under price my images I put on a disk for the client. Do you guys have a set price, or do you rate it by amount of images. I am at a loss of how to price this item. Thank in advance for any suggestions

When I started out I simply charged a flat rate for wedding photography and a disc of images. I made good money at it because I had very little time invested, but I do not spend much time in post on my images. Now that I am trying to sell prints and albums, I spend more time in post and charge more for a disc of images to reflect my work.
Sorry for the confusion. The disk is for the bride and groom of the second wedding I shot. I did not include the disk in the initial cost of the wedding (which I will do from now on). So, now I am unsure how to price the disk.. what I did include in the price, was proofs of the wedding, not disk.

It's all part of the initial package price in my model. If you want to include it as an "adder", and all your images are already edited and you just need to burn it..some where in the $100-200 range in my eyes.

They purchase a wedding package which includes basic processing on all (brightness, contrast, color and conversions- LR Stuff) and deep processing on 30 (skin touchups, cloning, eyes, teeth etc) password protected gallery, schedules, guest cards, assistant, all based on how much coverage they need.
Then if they want prints its additional... if they want the disc its additional... if they want albums its additional. But I just do a flat rate for the disc no matter how many photos are on it.
On the disc I include the photos printing resolution, email resolution and an adobe reader pdf of the copyright release. My discs are also not just silver discs with hand sharpie'd names on it. They are custom designed with the wedding photos on all 4 cover spaces, and the disc itself is printed with photos to match. I need to get a photo of that set up at some point.
I charge around 40% of the package total for the additional fee for the disc.

Not sure what you are asking... (?) They almost always buy the discs.
I agree it would probably be in 100 to 150 range assuming you are not charging over $500. for your other wedding services.
For some higher priced photographers the price for disc of pictures may be several thousand dollars.
We always include the disc with full resolution photos as part of a wedding package.
