I am doing some charity work for CARE, and will be shooting an event in a few weeks. It will be held from 2-9PM at the Herbst Theatre / Green Room in San Francisco.

I would LOVE to get some first hand feedback from any of you have shot there. What was your technique, gear, tips, etc.

You'll be a great help to me and also helping a great cause. Thanks!

If you possibly can, visit the room and take some test shots.

From just a rudimentary search it looks like it really is a "green" painted room, with gold trim. I doubt that bounce is an option so I would use a flash on a bracket and a scoop modifier for candids.

Light on a stick could also work, again with an appropriate modifier.

If you are the designated "official" photographer then you might want to set up some lights on stands if there is a podium.
