Sphingis colibrius most difficultius (Macroglossum stellatarum)

Here is the best shot I got so far of this very peculiar kind of butterfly, that never poses on the flowers, like colibri birds...

being an handheld shot in ambient light I think it is not so bad, but a more frontal view would have been better...

I would be very interested to see other pictures of those butterflies, as for me they are really nice and challenging!

    Hummingbird Moth
    Actually it is a Hummingbird Moth. From Wikipedia:
    Hemaris is a Holarctic genus of sphinx moths, consisting of about 17 species, four of which fly in North and South America. Their main host plants are herbs and shrubs of the Dipsacaceae (Teasel) and Caprifoliaceae (Honeysuckle) families. Moths in the Hemaris genus are collectively called Clearwing Moths or Hummingbird Moths in the US, and Bee Hawk-Moths in Britain.
