A surreal view of the Southern Alps of New Zealand taken from the Lake Tekapo area in mid winter......thoughts/comments/critique would be appreciated.

This is a beautiful shot of the mountains and clouds. I like how you chose to give most of the photo to the clouds as they are dramatic. On the same vein, though, it may be that the clouds are darkened a little too much, especially on both sides, to hold the attention as much as they should.

Whoah, nice pano! Is this an IR shot or just processed similarly? Either way the toning and contrast is great. Wish I was there!

Thanks, actually a 16mm shot that once cropped ended up looking more like a pano. And no not an IR, just toned up that way to accentuate the sky and white snow covered mountains.

Beautiful picture. The tops of the mountains are almost the same brightness/color as the clouds so everything seems to merge together.
