FTP upload pleeeeeese

I hate the stupid http uploaders. They are all broken in some degree or I have to pay for a plugin. What the **** hell is wrong with tried true & reliable FTP?!

For my second Pro-account I looked around for a photo site that used ftp but none of them were as good as Smugmug so I came back, but I'd be gone in a Hummingbird heartbeat if there was had a decent site that used it.

Hi, I'm sorry you're having troubles.

I use the Simple in-browser uploader and upload 500-1000+ photos daily. I like that it's extremely fast, and if there's a problem I can dump all my photos in again and say "skip duplicates".

What is not working for you, with this uploader? We'd love to hear specifics so we can address them.

Nikolai's StarExplorer Uploader is loved by many, many hundreds of SmugMug Pros. Yes, he charges a fee for it - it's his program and he's got that right. I don't know anyone that uses it, that says it's not worth it.

We don't do FTP for security reasons, thanks for the request though, very much!
