The black one is a about 9 months old female and the white one is at least 3 years old huge white male. Recently the kitten has taken to just pestering the white one, who seems to put up with it quite a bit.

it looks like a miss for sharp altogether. Got sharp straight out of the camera or
is just my monitor thats furring up things.
This is such a good approach. Were it a tad sharper out of the camera it would be teriffic.....even then, I still like this one very much.

As for a tripod -- do the string and washer till you buy one -- it works

It does take animals awhile to get use to the camera. My one dog will pose for it while the other will turn her head -- but with a flash -- they both run.
They'll get use to it soon -- looking forward to seeing the next one
