Embed live stream video possible?

Are there instructions for embedding live streaming video on one's smugmug site? I found one old thread asking if it is possible and Andy said he didn't know why not and to go for it.

If you have the video file stored elsewhere and the code put it in the
gallery description between html tags.

Complete newbie here: That sounds great but if the video has been stored does that mean it's not live? How is it live and stored at the same time? And what you do you mean stored? I could have it on my machine, right? Or does it require another website to host it? How does one obtain the code? Is doing this problemmatic in some way? Thanks.

You need to use a service that takes the video from your webcam, and broadcasts it on the internet.

Once you have set up the service, you should take the embed code from the service, and put it in your smugmug site (e.g. in a gallery description), surrounded by tags
