What's happening on the 2nd shot. Is the lady on the right just about to cut off her hair, or is she just making a new up-do?

She's putting her hair up. They rarely cut their hair, the woman on the left is holding the hair she cutted or fell in the past for her, and she's putting all hair up together. The lady said it's very heavy. But never left your luck behind!

Rainbow, yes, I have very long hair and much longer hair now, long hair means good luck so I am guessing I am a lucky girl,lol!:D
