Very nice, could you see the light streaming down, or just experience shooting that told you how it would turn out?

Never even dawned on me to try it, tell me, is there a good tutorial someplace for shooting these kinds of shots or PM me.

I'd love to try it with my 5D.

Wow! You have done a beautiful job envisioning this and pulling it off. Sometimes I forget to look for photo ops in all directions and this will give me a reminder to look up.

    Thanks for sharing.

The usual. Include the sun into the frame. If you want the "Muench Star" close the aperture down to f/20. If you want sky color to show, too, you may need bracketing (or at least shoot RAW) or underexpose.
