Maximum number of pictures per gallery?

I just finished shooting a wedding, and planning to upload hundreds of pictures for the guests gallery. I've never done with Smugmug before... will there be an issues if I upload 500 pictures or more in the same gallery. Performance wise?

Let me know if there's a maximum imposed... I have not seen anything on that topic.

    500 is a fine number. More than that and it can be unweildy for some browsers when you as owner have to do certain things.

    But for visitors, browsing, it really doesn't matter if you're using a style like SmugMug style.

    Just an example, but I have one gallery with over 900 photos - it's one of my aviation galleries, with 4+ years of shooting at and around Kennedy Airport.
