Trouble setting up SMUGDAV network link in XP

I'm having trouble setting up a network link on my PC to the SMUGDAV app using XP. Since I'm still using XP and not VISTA, I go to "My Computer/Map Network Drive" and I enter in the "Folder name" http://upload.smugmug.com/smugdav.mg . I click FINISH and then a pop-up window prompts me for my smugmug login information (which I'd expect). I enter my "User name:" and "Password:" and when I click OK, I seem to get caught in an endless loop where I'm asked to enter my user name and PW over and over again with no success. However I have no trouble logging into my Smugmug account using the SAME login information I just tried here. Would anyone happen to have any suggestions as to what I might possibly doing wrong? I did search through the forums and did not find anyone posting a similar issue. (So I'm thinking it's something I'm doing wrong.) Quite frustrating.
