ebay strobe transmitters??

Looking at buying strobes this week,alien bees?? I have 2 in college so budget is a little tight. Looking at ebay triggers, any input if they work and which ones, also I have a sekonic 358 with no transmitter, can I still trigger them with a cord for f stop test. I have never used strobes before.,been reading some so a little help would be great Thanks Sparky675

I have the ebay triggers and they work just fine.

You need to order the correct model to fit Your camera hot shoe.

I basically bought two transmitters and four receivers, I use the second transmitter to plug into the light meter and trigger the strobes receiver.
