Early on during this site problem, SmugMug was adding a big red header to my site, apologizing for the site problems. The notice no longer appears, but the site is still too slow to be usable.

Please put that message back up.

I've given my site address to several potential clients and without the notice they're liable to give up and go away, thinking that my site is just too slow to bother with. The notice might help a lot of users to avoid a potentially embarrassing situation.

I've been having similar speed issues for parts of the day today while trying to access smugmug sites. All from three different internet connections.
