Image Size

Hi all,

The image size of my uploads appears to change quite a bit between images in the same gallery that were close to the same size before theywere uploaded. ie In one gallery all the images appear to be the correct size except for which are are much smaller. Is there something i'm missing?

Thanks amazing the speed you guys work at. Try this gallery http://www.glmaguire.com/Other/Nikon/9571395_NTotj#643984568_XnVnd one the images that is smaller than i anticipated is called "charlotte looking to camera". It is a 4.5m file on my pc and 1.64m on smugmug.

Don't laugh at the title of the gallery - i'm just learning to use a DSLR!

Are the files you are uploading JPGs from the camera, or are they JPG's you've created after some processing of the image? If the latter, double-check your JPG compression level -- that can make a big difference in the file size.

Regardless, what method are you using to upload the photos? Smugmug's uploader, or another tool?
