Ok, here are some shots I took today flying between Shanghai and Guangzhou practicing in-camera B&W conversions. Got to thinking afterwards whether they might actually work for the challenge. Working title could be: "Moving Mountains." Here are a couple of samples. Interested in feedback on the in-camera conversions as well as the potential shots themselves.

Nice shots! Not fully getting the 'movement' idea out of them. 4 comes closest with the wispy clouds sort of having the sense of long-exposure running water. Perhaps a title the contrasts 400mph and stillness....

I'm also not getting the 'movement', but for the record I love #1!

Thanks for the comments guys. I know these only indirectly imply movement. You can't be where I was to take them without moving and clouds move, albeit slowly some times.

So I take it that the in-camera B&W conversions are OK in your books?

    If it's in-camera, it's fair game. thumb.gif

(I like #4 for the best, for the record)

All awesome images, however it is tough to associate them with movement even though I am sure they all are.
