Haven't posted for awhile. Had a lovely gal come in todayfor some head shots. Great cheeks.

Very pretty young woman. Love here eyes. I think the more relaxed nature expression of the second shot is my favorite. She looks older and more mature in the last one; not sure what made that difference. First is nice as well but seems somewhat flat to me. Her left cheek seems to fade into the white background.

    Great shots. Thanks for sharing.

Lovely series, and interesting progression. You mention her cheeks in the opening, but the first shot you can't discern them. The last shot show off those nice cheek bones. I like how you got such varied impressions of her face by your lighting and pp choices.

    Thanks for sharing.

On B&W high key I just favor blending the face almost into the bkg. Just a preference of mine that I like. Just catches my fancy.

I really like #2.. i think she looks more mature in #3 because her clothing and makeup is oldschool. nice work..she is super cute!!

I think they're all pretty good. I agree about the cheeks in #1; the smile is very natural in #2, and extends to the eyes. The eyes are blue in #2 and green in #3 - is that my imagination or PhotoShop??? I think #3 is a bit too red for my taste; I think I prefer the colours of #2.

    Very pretty girl; nice job!!

in #3, she reminds me of a young Meryl Streep.

#2 is the one that works best for me, but #3 is nice too. Back to #2, there is a greyish shadow on her upper shoulder line, photographer left. It distracted me straight away. Hopefully simple to fix in post.

I enjoyed all 3 shots but also like #2 the best - she looks most comfortable and natural, and her eyes and cheeks really do pop. Mostly though I like the expression she has...like she just got caught doing/saying something she shouldn't be. Being a newbie, I can only hope to have pix this good one day!

I'm going aginst the flow, but while I like them all, I'm drawn into the first photo the most. Great work.
