Great colors. Are the spurs and the red part of the boot all connected? I'm a bit confused by the leather strapping and what's part of the main boot, and what is added on. The whole is very interesting because of how the boot is worn and added contrast w/ the jeans.

Hey Andrew,
No, the spurs are separate from the boots. The red part is the "uppers" of the boot itself.
The spurs are held on with the spur strap that goes across the front of the boots bridge area. On this pair, they also have a strap that goes under the boot, just in front of the heel.
The leather lacing that is wrapped around the upper boot is there to keep the boots from coming off.
This is a bull rider. They use the spurs to help them hold on to the bull. If the boots aren't "tied on", the 1800 pounds of raging, thrashing, jumping, spinning bull will pull them off in a jiffy

This is why I don't ride a bull to work, my sneakers would fall off...
Thanks for the explanation. I never noticed on the few times I've seen bull riding on ESPN about the extra strapping.

Hey Azzaro,
All that for 8 seconds & hopefully, a LOT of money
It is a great picture!!! I can see this in between a photo of a Wyoming er...Texas hat and a Rodeo Champion belt buckle!
we like the PP you've done.
I can hear the chute creaking with the caged power, then the famous
words " OUT SIDE" then the Battle Begins for eternity or 8 Seconds, whichever comes first.
Very nicely done, great perspective, and the post processing and colors are stunning.
