I'm sure the info is here, but I've searched until my eyes have crossed.:huh

How do I disable and/or edit this feature? I know I never added it and it's making me crazy.

My galleries are locked during the uploading process. I usually put something in the description during that time. Now I have people emailing me for passwords......

If there is a password they can't get in and see your message. Put your
message in the password hint so they know they have to wait.

You can also make the gallery private, instead of pwd protected, until it's ready. I do this with a preset so people can't see galleries until I want them to.

The term Smugmug uses is "unlisted" so if you're looking for that setting in the customize gallery screen, you will find "unlisted", not private. I would agree that "unlisted" is the right thing to do if you don't want a gallery to be visible to the public until you're ready.

Thank you. I can see the message though.

I added the same thing to the hint so that may help. If it doesn't I will keep them unlisted until they are ready to go.

    Thank you everyone!
