Always bring your camera

Hey Y'all,

I have always espoused taling one's camera with them at all times. You never know if today will be the day the alien mother ship lands.

Anyhow there's no picture attached to this post because I violated my own cardinal rule.

My son stopped by last weekend for a visit while he was in the area on business. He and I were driving down our main drag, Wickham Rd. Usually the only thing along there are banks and fast food dives so I didn't bother taking a camera.

At one point the traffic came to stand still because some sandhill cranes were crossing the road. Now these four cranes decided to cross at the crosswalk. As they walked along in the hashmarks of the crosswalk my son and I looked at each other and said "Abbey Road".

Those damn cranes had just about perfectly re-enacted the classic Beatle's album cover from their Abbey Road album. :bash

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

"In Penny Lane there is a barber showing photographs..."

I just got got off the "Beatles Rock Band" with my daughter after purchasing it tonight...

Then I read your post. At least you can console yourself by ordering the Beatles Remastered "Abbey Lane" and think of those sandhill cranes every time you play it.ear.gif
