WHY does canon have to tempt me!

I sent my 40D in for repair on the shutter button....it was really sticky.

The bill is $200, however they offer me an upgrade to a 50D for $650...!

$650 is a pretty good deal but I suspect the 50D would be a refurbished model. I am not saying that it is or isn't, only that you might want to inquire.

It is refurbished. I think I'll drop the $200 and save up for the 7D lol

FWIW, I just got $700 for my 40D on ebay, and it has a broken USB port. YMMV.

Right, he could ebay the 50D and probably make a couple hundred to put towards the 7D!
