Here's an idea I had:

#1

#2

#3

#4

I'd call it "Keeper" or something along those lines. My other idea involves my guitar again, but I have yet to get something I like.

    Excellent start! clap.gif

I like #1 better because the globe is more recognizable as a globe. But you might try for a little more motion - something in between 1 and 2.

lol! Thanks for the responses. I have plenty more shots to go through of this. These were my two quick selections:

#1 - I like the look of the hand. It feels well balanced to me.
#2 - More motion, like you said.

I'll have to see what else I have and maybe do some more shooting.

I like the motion in 2, but it isn't that recognizable as a globe. I wonder if you reframe it, back out a bit, so you see more of the frame holding the globe, which is spinning, and then saw the hand too?

Cool shots! I like the motion in the second but alone it would be hard to recognise as a globe

I like #2 a lot. Because I saw the other photo, I recognize it as that globe. But even without having that globe as a reference I can see the rotation. Very cool shot. clap.gif

Since we have a theme to deal with here, I will definitely have to go with #2. Cool shots!

I'd love to see something between the two motionwise.... best of both worlds: recognizable as a globe AND motion :D

Great idea and love the shots--can't decide which is better.
While the first one has the continents in focus and you can tell what it is, plus the shadow of the hand--all very cool, the second is awesome too with the spin---can't decide...Either one rocks!

Thanks for all the replies! I added two more options. I think #3 is my personal favorite.

I think you have nailed the motion in 3. And I like the ghost hand.

I still prefer the view of South America and Africa for the fit of the continents over the view of Asia.

That said, 3 is very good.

Where is that flame-like effect in #3 coming from? That is very cool (and a bit disturbing).
