Ummm...looks a bit more like a displaced left femoral fracture - OUCH! Those shots bring back memories of my training days at MGH - Coffee Central (man their coffee sucks). Hope you had a decent view from the room.

ps - you may want to edit that MRI shot to remove your MR number (just being paranoid over here). Also, did they misspell your first name???
Really a wonderful series - tells a story but leaves us guessing about some aspects of it so we can superimpose our own narrative - lots of close up and personal, interesting faces in the act of just being themselves.

Some nice portraits here, and some...well... What I think is astounding about this group of images is that they were shot at all: you were drugged to the gills; you were in pain I don't even want to imagine; and you were flat on your back in a hospital. And yet you had the presence of mind to have your wife bring you a camera, and you managed to shoot something. That, my friend, is carrying "always carry a camera" to its extreme limits, and showing a dedication to shooting that we should all admire and cheer for! :ivar :ivar
