Why do I have to enter a password when I'm logged on?

Recently I've noticed that I'm being prompted for a password to my password protected albums when I am logged on. Is this something new? I don't remember having to use a password before to get into these albums when I am logged on as the owner (not visitor view). Do I need to change a setting? If so, please advise.
Thanks in advance,
JA

Of course I went back in and now it doesn't seem to be doing that, but over the last few days I've had it happen any number of times.

I can't replicate it now but basically all of my password protected galleries were asking for a password even though I was logged in as the owner and not in visitor view. It seems to be working fine now.
    Thanks anyway,

FWIW, this has happened to me as well and started within the past 2 weeks. The latest variety occurred when I clicked on the link in an automated email from smugmug that I had a comment on a photo. Prior events were simply random while navigating through my site and being logged in.

Are you logging in at smugmug.com ? Then going here? www.s3nets.com - do you have 3rd party cookies enabled?

In all honesty, it's been a while since logging in since I stayed logged in all the time. I can't recall that login, so I suppose it is possible that I'm still officially logged in since prior to the changes that affected customed url's. Are you suggesting that perhaps I should stay logged in to www.s3nets.com from now on?

If you are logged in and close your browser and reopen the browser you'll be
logged in viewing your site and be able to change things. But some security
pages will need an additional log in. Seems on some security pages you need
to log in on your current session. At least this is what I found.

I originally thought that this was a bug until I realized why its happening. The pages that the system is forcing this second login is the control panel (change password, change billing info, etc.), and things like the gallery set prices pages. The idea is to prevent someone from gaining access to the secure pages should they sit down at a computer you have been logged into earlier. It is possible that they could use your browsing history to go back to your site. Forcing them to login during that session helps to protect you. I really like this now that I understand why it is happening.
