infrared macros

shot with my infrared-modded canon digital rebel and canon 100mm macro aboard. these are lavender bushes, being worked heavily by the bees.

    Cool stuff Andy, I really like that 2nd one. With the modded rebel what kind of shutter speeds are you capable of getting?

    thanks ed - click on the pics for the exif... these are at 1/250th, i can shoot at 1/1000th and have done so....

    Way cool idea Andy...my oh my that is superb! Thats gotta go to a magazine somewhere, Andy. Great stuff. I've gotten bees in an IR before, but nuttin' like that! thumb.gif Love the pano too.

    great technique
    These are wonderful photos and a great techinque. The third photo which you added is great--like a checkerboard--black and white, black and white.
