DDS #33, Shifting Left

I'm taking a different approach to this one.

Shifting Left.

The only thing done to this was a resize in Preview on my IMac.
I would have liked to do a bit of sharpening to this, seeing as I'm going from a 21 meg shot to a 1 meg shot.
But, oh well.


The modified shot looks like this.

Interesting take on the theme. Unless you can do the resize in camera, I would expect it to be DQ.

I see a lot more detail in his shirt on the resize. I kind of like the serious, disembodied head under the podium in the original.

I guess I expect it to be DQed also, but I will not post an original sized shot in a gallery that I don't control.
I don't feel we should be asked to do that either.

The detail was somewhat there in the original until I resized it. Resizing without applying any type of
sharpening will cause you to lose some of the details.

This was taken at the Target Center in Minneapolis on the 12th.

The Secret Services guys never cracked a smile while I was looking at them.

I like the idea on movement here, but I'm partial to the out-of-the-box definitions.
