These are some attempts I made today,
reshoots definitely possible since these are my boys riding on our dirt bike trail...
going to try again tomorrow after seeing what worked and didn't work from todays attempt.
Wondering if the subject/idea is worth pursuing?? All c&c welcome, thanks!

Definitely worth pursuing. Of these, I like the angle in 2 best. Too bad part of the helmet is chopped off.

3 is also cool for the extreme sense of motion.

Or I should say, 3 is also cool for the sense of extreme motion. :D

Were you moving as well or did you use a focus pull to get the background to seem in motion?

    Thanks everyone for your feedbackbowdown.gif
Yes AndMan, I did use a focus pull on these,
although I was doing some panning as well.
I took soooo many pics just to get these, and it was all going pretty fast,
that I couldn't tell you for sure what I did for any one particular shotrolleyes1.gif
I was able to shoot some more today, and added 3 more pics to my first post. Do any of them work better than the favored #3?
    Thanks for looking!
Boy these are hard when you have to get it right SOOC!

Not to sound like a broken record, but yeah...#3. The focus pull really does the initial trick when you first look at it! Great job!

#3 seems to better tell the story and it has good light so I agree with the crowd.

For me, it's a toss up between #2 & #3. There's just enough detail in the rider and the bike in those to that really appeals to me.

#3 reminds of that scene in Star Wars were Luke & Leia are on the Moon of Endor on those bicycle-rocket things.

    I still vote for #3.
While I like #6 it is the light in #3 that gets it.
