I have mixed feelings. I really like the mood and colors, but I think the sky looks kind of harsh/noisy and could be smoothed out a bit. It's very dramatic looking.
It has a surreal look that I like, but it almost crosses the line into
painting or computer game. The processing may be a bit overdone
if you want it to seem like a photograph, but it looks interesting
nonetheless. It all depends what you wanted to achieve with the
shot.
It's fun
The mo' I look at it, the mo' I like it.
Intuitively I don't think it would print well, but as a screen print it's a lot of fun. That's a pretty popular shooting spot around these here parts, but you've injected some creativity into it, so hooray!
Thanks all. I did accomplish the mood and colors of the idea I had. I just think this is a very unique take on a location that is so popular to shoot. Gothameske maybe. I had the same take as Miguel. The more I look at it the more I like it. Hmmm...maybe a new style for me. A little more NR of the sky is what I will be working for.
Miguel...thanks for the comment on my troll pan. I will probably reshoot and try to take out the concrete barriers. The lighting of the stairs against the sky is ominous looking and really adds to the overall mood.

BTW, your Fremont troll shot is excellent.

This spot, while always beautiful to see, is often shot the same way. This is a totally dark, apocalyptic take on it which is extremely unexpected (in a good way!). I like it.

Photos that don't suck / 365 / Film & Lomography
Looks like cartoonish HDR. Not that there's anything wrong with that.
Where were you shooting it from?
Thanks
