Immature eagle harassing a osprey to give up the fish.
At tha everglades. D80 w 600/4 and 17x. f6.7@1/800 sec, iso 320, EC -1/3

    you lucky
    we tried for a month when there was one here doing the same thing to the osprey but even with a 600 and 3x would not have got this kind of shot .The eagle most times was just to far away when it took the fish 10944573-Ti.gif it always took the fish even if it was dropped where the 2 of them never got it back , real nice shot thumb.gif

    Nice! where were you in the 'Glades?
    where exactly were you? best osprey's i've seen have been at flamingo but i haven't seen an eagle there yet....thanks...KT

    great get, Rick. Nice job in a fast situation.
    We had a juvy in Orange County this year. He mostly hung out in the tree waiting for the Osprey to catch a fish, and then chase them. I never saw him fish once! [I guess when they are young they aren't very good at it yet.]
