Went back up to Sequoia NP yesterday in search of bears, on a hike we ran into a mother and two cubs. I was grinning all the way home :D

    Excellent shots. I'm jealous.

What is the white on Momma's neck?

The cubs are wonderful. Thanks for sharing them.

The white in Momma's neck is a radio collar. I'm just guessing but I'd bet it's to keep track of her and the cubs for a bit...

Steve, I had never seen one before either. I had to look it up to make sure it was what I thought it was.

Thanks Ginger, I was all smiles on the way home, drove for about 10 hours straight looking for wildlife. Decided to take a hike to a meadow about 1/4 mile or so from the main road and Jackpot... Bears... then I worried alll the way home about focus, exposure, light... you all know how it is haha

I really appreciate all the comments folks...

Yeah Jeff, we have a bear thing going right now. It one of those things I've always wanted to take pictures of, but I can't seem to get the shot I want so I keep going back.

Where are you going to be the first week of August? Let me know where you heading and we'll go shoot..

Missy gets full credit for finding the Coyote, he was laying down in the shade in a small meadow and I would have driven right by him... I'll try to get her to post of couple of her pictures this week..
