This is masking and zoom blur filter, I doubt you could achieve it in-camera. My New Years resolution was to not make anyone jump in the air. The bride asked and I was like sure, it was her vision to do it "High School Musical" style which basically meant they ponied. I got it in 2 shots, on camera flash + Sunpak 622 with diffusion head as extra.

Last time I looked at this thread I had wondered (hoped) the jump shot was in processing, because if you were good enough to nail the focus, get the shot AND zoom, I was going to just have to bow down to your amazing skills, and then throw in the towel on jump shots. It is pretty darn cool.

I'll have to go check out the photos of your little one. That will be a treat! Blurmore does babies. Whoot!
