    Thanks Mari. Yup he really has taken to it...he was shooting one of his sisters....pretty darn good shot too...maybe I'll post that as a followup :)

    The best part of all of it is that anytime a newer model comes out, you can tell your wife that your son has outgrown his camera and you should give him your current one.

    Then, of course, you will need to purchase a new one for yourself...

    And he can pass that one down to his sister...

    I have to say...I'm disappointed he's using the onboard flash! rolleyes1.gif I thought you would have trained him better!

    Glad to see photography starting at a young age, I wish I had gotten started younger!

    Rainbow: It works well especially since my wife has really taken a liking to the 5D so I just have the 5D MKII.....hmmm perhaps a 1D is in my future ;)

    Richard: YOU NEED TO HUSH THAT NOISE!!!! hmmm college or Hasselblad

    Nick: baby steps :) he does know how to navigate the menus and format the card etc
