Migrant Hawker Dragonfly

This newly emerged dragonfly was captured by chance whilst walking the dog yesterday at Taunton, Somerset, UK. It was a good find as there are not many about in the UK.

Thank you for viewing and commenting Phil. Due to the uncertainty of what constitutes 'Macro' I have posted two views. My preference is always to have a recognisable image rather than parts of the subject made as large as posible. I therefore agree with your choice of image.
For those that like the other types of view, I have given access to the image in the gallery so people can choose to see the original sized image rather than the one posted here. Hopefully all can choose their own preferred view.

Thank you Brian. I was lucky to catch it while drying its wings, Normally the Hawkers are fast fliers and therefore difficult to get a decent shot of them.
